Aeros Ready To Skate To The Finish

HOUSTON, Texas - The Houston Aeros will take on the Rockford IceHogs in the first round of the 2008 Calder Cup Playoffs starting this Friday, April 18th at the Rockford MetroCentre. Houston finished the season with a dramatic shootout win over the Milwaukee Admirals to secure the third seed in the West Division. Rockford finished the regular season just two points ahead of the Aeros to take the second seed. This is the first ever meeting between the Aeros and IceHogs in the playoffs.

The series will follow a 2-3-2 format in which the first two games will be in Rockford on Friday, April 18th and Saturday, April 19th. The dates and times for the three games in Houston have not yet been determined, fans are encouraged to stay tuned to AEROS.com for updated information, or call 713.974.PUCK.
