NEW YORK – Coach of the Year candidate and Georgia head coach DOUG PLANK has the Force (8-3) atop of the AFLWA poll and ready for a trip to TD Waterhouse Centre to play the JAY GRUDEN-led No. 2-ranked Orlando Predators (8-4) this Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET on FSN South and Sun Sports.

Georgia's red-hot WR/LB CHRIS JACKSON (6-2, 220, Washington State) has made an immediate impact – 19 receptions for 197 yards and five touchdowns in two games, while Orlando has 2004 U.S. Army Ironman of the Year WR/LB CORY FLEMING (6-3, 215, Tennessee), who is averaging nine receptions for 102 yards and two touchdowns over the last three games.

The Eastern Division-leading Dallas Desperados head coach WILL MC CLAY will join AFL on NBC studio host AL TRAUTWIG and analyst GLENN PARKER in the studio for halftime commentary and postgame wrap-up interviews.

Elsewhere, American Conference play gets serious this weekend when 2002 Offensive Player of the Year QB MARK GRIEB (6-3, 208, Cal-Davis) and the AFLWA's No. 4 San Jose SaberCats (8-4) travel to Pepsi Center to faceoff against Offensive Player of the Year candidate OS DAMIAN HARRELL (6-3, 200, Florida State) and the No. 3 Colorado Crush (8-3) this Friday at 9 p.m. ET on Comcast-Colorado, WB20-San Jose and AFL Net.

Harrell continued his AFL record-setting ways with his 44th consecutive regular-season game with a receiving touchdown in last week's loss to Chicago. Grieb continued his All-Arena form by completing 20-of-25 (80.0%) of his passes for 267 yards and eight touchdowns in last week's victory over Dallas.

In an Eastern Division battle, New York QB AARON GARCIA (6-1, 195, Sacramento State) has a chance to become the first quarterback in professional football to throw for 700 career touchdowns when the Dragons (6-5) host the Philadelphia Soul (5-7) at Nassau Coliseum this Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on NBC. Garcia currently has 694 passing touchdowns.

Two teams battling for postseason position will faceoff at Staples Center when the Los Angeles Avengers (6-5) host the Chicago Rush (7-4) this Saturday at 10:30 p.m. ET on FSN Chicago, FSN West2 and The Score-Canada.

Chicago head coach MIKE HOHENSEE has his squad back in the thick of the postseason hunt with a three-game winning streak and back-to-back wins over San Jose and Colorado. U.S. Army Ironman of the Year candidate ETU MOLDEN (6-2, 195, Montana) picked up Offensive Player of the Week honors with six total touchdowns in last week's victory.
