Aces' training camp kicks off Friday in Anchorage

Can you believe it? We survived the off-season and we are ready to lace 'em up and play hockey again. The Aces and Head Coach Rob Murray will welcome players to the ice at Dempsey Anderson Arena starting this Friday at 10am.

Of course everyone is invited to stop by for a close-up look at the guys in Glacier Blue. We'll have rosters and other stuff for you. See you there! For a complete training camp schedule,

Vancouver Canucks begin playing exhibition games

The Canucks will open their exhibition schedule tonight (Tuesday) at San Jose.

Coach's Note

Coach Rob Murray went to Penticton, BC last week to scout some of Vancouver's up and coming young talent during a rookie tournament. He came away from the experience impressed with the franchise, facilities and talent. For more on Coach Murray's trip, click

Disco @ Dimond

Come Disco with the Alaska Aces- Friday, October 7th from 6pm to 8pm- for a good cause! Tickets are $5, cash only, (includes entry and skate rental). All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society to help fight cancer in Alaska!

Skate with the Aces Training Camp Team & mascots Boomer & Kodi. There will be a "Best Costume Contest" with 3 prizes! So come ready to disco, skate and have lots of fun!

Aces Making Strides

Help us make strides against breast cancer by participating in the American Cancer Society's walk on Saturday, October 1st. The Aces training camp team will be attending as well as Boomer & Kodi. Join us on the Delaney Park Strip (300 W 9th Ave) from 9:30-11:30AM this Saturday!

A portion of the race proceeds will be donated to the Alaska Run for Women. The primary focus of the Alaska Run for Women is to provide grants, thru fundraising, to non-profits that create awareness and decrease the impact of breast cancer on Alaska communities through education, outreach, research, early detection and treatment.

Early Bird Pricing: $40 for individuals, $30 for groups of 10 or more before this Friday, September 30th.

Day of Event Pricing: $45 for individuals, $35 for groups of 10 more
