BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Central Illinois Flying Aces fall to the Chicago Steel, 4 to 2.

Tate Singleton (West Lebanon, NH) scored for Central Illinois at 1:10 in the first. Chicago attempted to exit their zone, but Joe Dunlap (Windham, NH) intercepted the puck and drove down the wall. Dunlap dropped the puck back to Singleton who shot the puck past the goaltender to give the Aces an early lead.

Chicago got on the board at 6:58 with a goal from Robert Mastrosimone to tie the game.

The Aces got the lead back at 8:56 in the first. Ryan Siedem (Madison, NJ) made an outlet pass to Chad Hillebrand (Skokie, Ill.) for a two-on-one breakaway with Jon Panisa (Irvine, Calif.). Hillebrand waited until the Chicago defenseman had slid down and he passed around his foot. Panisa one-timed the puck into the back of the net to make it 2 to 1 for his first USHL goal.

The Steel tied the game again at 7:10 in the second with a shot from Uula Ruikka.

Chicago broke the tie at 11:26 in the third after Matteo Pietroniro buried a cross-slot pass on the power play. They scored their fourth of the night at 17:57 in the third with Mastrosimone's second goal of the night.
