Academy Lineup Announced for Melrose Meet-Up

BURLINGTON, ON - Toronto Arrows Academy Director and Head Coach Cory Hector has named his starting lineup for Thursday's academy clash with Scottish touring side Melrose.
Coming off last Saturday's victory over the New England Independents, the upcoming midweek match marks the first time the Young Arrows will face an overseas opponent. Melrose are currently in the midst of a tour of Ontario; Thursday's clash is sandwiched between this past Monday's meeting with the Oshawa Vikings and a tilt booked with the Southwestern Ontario Rugby Union in London, Ont. on Friday.
The nine-time Scottish champions have produced several Scottish internationals, including Doddie Weir (two of his sons are members of the touring squad), Craig Chalmers, Bryan Redpath, Jim Telfer, and, more recently, Kelly Brown.
The match will kick off at 7 p.m. from Sherwood Forest Park, the home of Burlington Centaurs RFC. There is no gate fee to attend; all are welcome. A live stream will also be available via Toronto Arrows social media channels.
