
ABA Vision to NBA Hawk

ATLANTA, GA - October 3, 2005-Atlanta Vision is pleased to have former player, Anthony Wilkins, added to the 2005-2006 Atlanta Hawk Training Camp Roaster that begins October 4th. 'I was ecstatic when Anthony called to tell me the good news," states Atlanta Vision owner, Quentin Townsend, 'He is our first player to be added to a NBA 2005-2006 training camp roster."
'The Vision organization will continue to build and produce professional athletes our community will be proud of, 'adds Georgia Tech Hall of Fame inductee and General Manager for the Vision, Dennis Scott. 'Atlanta Vision is a place where players will be developed and exposed to the next level of basketball."
Atlanta Vision is an official member of the American Basketball Association (ABA) and will hold its final open player tryout on Saturday, October 15th and Sunday, October 16th at The Samson's Center. Selected players will be involved in the 2005-2006 Atlanta Vision Training-Vet camp which begins November 1st. Interested players can register through the team's website, www.theatlantavision.com.
Atlanta Vision 36 game season begins November 2005 through March 2006 with 18 home games at The Samson's Center, 6400 Woodrow Road - Lithonia, Georgia 30038. Vision ticket prices range from a $5 student ticket to a scorer's table VIP ticket of $25 and includes free parking.
