ABA to launch new webcast radio show Saturday

Published on July 31, 2006 under American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that it would launch a new webcast radio show on Saturday, August 5th. The new show will be called ABA ALL ACCESS RADIO and will be broadcast each Saturday afternoon at 3pm by logging onto the league website, www.abalive.com.

The new show will be produced by Audio Sports Online.com, a company founded by Jason Dozier in 2001 that provides live audio and video webcasting services for high school, collegiate, semi-pro and professional sports teams. ASO's services were used by four ABA teams last season.

Dozier and Robby Kendall will co-host the show which will feature an all-new format with emphasis on interviews of team owners, coaches, players and ABA personnel.

According to Joe Newman, ABA CEO, "We were pleased with the job done by Derrick Pearson on ABALIVETALK. The show was very popular - but we felt that we wanted to take the show in a new direction with greater emphasis on the local situations in the ABA cities and a particular emphasis on the tremendous community oriented programs initiated by the teams. We think you'll like Robby and Jason." For more information, visit www.abalive.com.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
