ABA goes to Europe with Global Broadcasting

December 22, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) has announced an agreement with Global Broadcasting & Syndication Company (GBSC) to televise ABA games starting in January along with an agreement with CAD, Inc., a full-service marketing agency that utilizes television and video blogs to carry marketing message, news and information across the entire spectrum of devices and platforms available to carry video content. The games will be televised on the channel America Unleashed (http://www.theusaunleashed.tv). According to Joe Newman, ABA CEO, "This is something that has been in the works for some time. There is great interest in the ABA in Europe because we have many European players and the word has certainly gotten back about our exciting, fast-paced games that approxmiate much of the international game with the added dimension of 3-D, one of the unique ABA rules that creates a full court game that stresses both offense and defense."

The agreement to televise ABA games is a result of associations with Global Broadcasting & Syndication Company, CAD, Inc. and Music Media Enterprises Europe Ltd./Henk van Meer. These companies are the brain-child of Award Winning and Emmy-nominated broadcast journalist Carol Angela Davis, attorney Mark Geragos, corporate strategist Gary Hutchins and distribution & marketing specialist Henk van Meer.
