
ABA first round playoff matchups announced

Indianapolis, IN. The ABA professional basketball league today announced the first round playoff matchups for the single elimination tournament starting Friday in Kansas City.
According to Ricardo Richardson, ABA Executive Vice President, "There should be some very good games as all of these teams are competitive. We took travel arrangements into consideration as one of the ways we created the matchups. It should work; fans should be happy."
Fri, Mar 4 Orange County vs Kansas City
Sun, Mar 6 Kentucky vs Harlem
Sun, Mar 6 Las Vegas vs Long Beach
Sun, Mar 6 New Jersey vs Maryland
Sun, Mar 6 Tijuana vs Mississippi
Mon, Mar 7 St. Louis vs Utah
Tue, Mar 8 Ontario vs Arkansas
Thu, Mar 10 Bellevue vs Texas
The higher seeded winners of the first round will host the second round games with the winners of those games playing in the Final Four on March 14 and 15th.
