ABA Auctions offers free Official ABA Lapel Pins

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the ABA Auctions will be giving away a FREE Official ABA Lapel Pin to the first 100 individuals that register at www.abaauctions.com. Once you register, the Official ABA Lapel Pin will be mailed to the address you use during registration.

The auction allows the ABA to raise money for many causes including hurricane disaster victims through the American Red Cross and Salvation Army as well as to donate funds for ABA Salute which benefits the U.S. military and its families. It is important to get registered as a user at www.abaauctions.com so that you can receive important updates and information on the auctions and on charitable causes. The ABA plans to run many special auctions throughout the season.

According to Scott Templin, ABA Auction Supervisor, "The ABA Auctions will be offering one of a kind items from the new and original ABA along with many other types of sports and entertainment memorabelia." Templin added, "We are adding hundreds of new items for our members to bid on weekly. Once we have our target of over 10,000 auctions posted we will begin focusing on very unique items for our members to bid on."

"Last season, proceeds from the ABA Auction were used to supply ABA red, white and blue balls to inner city youth programs. We intend to continue that program as well as the other worthy causes," said Joe Newman, ABA CEO. "In fact, this is only one of the many charitable programs the league and its teams are undertaking this season. The ABA is truly dedicated to helping others."
