A Salute To The Fans!

Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs News Release
BOSSIER CITY, LA - The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs and their fans held one final event to cap off the 2007-08 season last night at CenturyTel Center with a Year-End Salute and Season Sendoff. Mudbugs players, staff and fans were on hand to officially close-out the 2007-08 season by recognizing accomplishments, revisiting highlights and exchanging thanks.
Speakers at the event included booster club President JoAnn Seaman, Head Coach Scott Muscutt and Owner John Madden. Mudbugs radio broadcaster Travis Huntington re-capped all of the records, awards and great moments achieved by this year's team.
Each player on the team was recognized for his contributions to the 07-08 campaign, and every player had a chance to step in front of the crowd and thank the fans for their support throughout the year. The players also had their home and away game jerseys from throughout the season auctioned off to the fans.
Videos were shown featuring game highlights and photography from the season, including some of the lighter moments with the players off the ice. At the end of the program, the fans had an opportunity for one last visit and autograph session with the players before many of them departed for the off-season.
The Mudbugs organization would once again like to thank each and every one of the fans, season ticket holders and corporate sponsors for all of their support and enthusiasm throughout the season.
The Mudbugs "Season in Review" will be released next week, so keep an eye out for that and all the other Mudbugs off-season news throughout the summer at www.mudbugshockey.com. The Mudbugs 2008-09 season opener is tentatively scheduled for Friday, October 17th at CenturyTel Center .
