Loudoun Hounds News Release
Dear Fans and Supporters of the Loudoun Hounds and Virginia Cavalry FC,
I'm extraordinarily happy to report that on Tuesday, March 5, the Loudoun County Planning Commission forwarded the One Loudoun Ballpark's rezoning proposal to the Board of Supervisors with a unanimous recommendation to approve.
This tremendous news comes after a very diligent, productive two-week work session between the Commission's staff and One Loudoun representatives, in which myriad issues were addressed and resolved. We thank the Commission for their thoroughness and exactitude as we strive to build a Ballpark that is as great a neighbor as it is an asset.
We are closer now than we've ever been to making our Ballpark a reality. Yet we still have a row to hoe before construction can begin, so we still need your valuable help.
On the evening of Monday, March 25, at Farmwell Station Middle School in Ashburn, a public hearing will be held before the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors. We strongly encourage all supporters of the Hounds and Cavalry to demonstrate their desire for our privately funded Ballpark to come to fruition.
Please follow the links below to sign the petition in support of the One Loudoun Ballpark. While there, you can also e-mail the Supervisors directly through the link below or if you are on the OneLoudounBallPark.com site, you find it under the "Support Ballpark" heading.
Most importantly: THE SUPERVISORS NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU ON MARCH 25! Please join us for our pre-hearing rally at 4:45 pm, then please consider speaking on the Ballpark's behalf at the 6:00 pm hearing.
We are close, but we are not there yet. All of us here at VIP Sports & Entertainment look forward to seeing you on March 25. You are truly part of this home team.
Sincerely,
Bob Farren
