Orangeville A's News Release
BRAMPTON, On. - " To our fans and the fans of the NBL Canada;
As an organization the Brampton A's have worked consistently to impact and connect with the city of Brampton and our wonderful community, through
- School Tours every week; delivering positive messages and leveraging our presence to impact young lives
- Partnered with dozens of non profits to aid in the impact of thousands of lives
- Player and staff personal appearances, too many to number in an effort to support a variety of initiatives
Which made it an extremely difficult decision to move the 2nd round play off games to Orangeville.
However; as a franchise we have to evaluate all factors, one of which being arena space available to us on dates that will generate legitimate opportunities to have fan support.
Throughout the season we have strived to deliver an entertaining and quality product, and for this second round of the playoffs we will put forth our efforts to accomplish this in Orangeville.
Hopefully you can understand that a successful franchise, any way we can get there, has to be good for the long term survivability of the league as a whole.
We hope to see our great fans that helped cheer us to victory this past Saturday in our historic 1st playoff series win. As a small gesture we have lowered the prices to encourage as many as possible to come out."
