(Edmonton) - The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club announces the signing of import running back Tyler Thomas.
The five-foot-nine, 196-pound native of Jackson, MI, joins the Green and Gold from Bacone College. Last season, he recorded 133 carries for 822 yards and eight touchdowns; 15 receptions for 134 yards and one touchdown; and 12 kickoff returns for 478 yards and one touchdown. Thomas was named Bacone's 2012 Offensive Most Valuable Player as well as the Offensive Player of the Year in the Central States Football League.
