
Clarke Signs With Allen Americans

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans of the Central Hockey League announced the signing of defenseman Garrett Clarke today for the 2013-2014 season.
Garrett Clarke signed in Allen as a free agent last season playing in 54 games, while accumulating 223 penalty minutes with four points.
"I feel very privileged to call Allen my home again for the upcoming season, said Americans defenseman Garrett Clarke." "Winning a championship last year was an amazing experience and the support we received from our fans was second to none. I'm looking forward to getting to camp and defend our title."
The native of Windsor, NS played in one playoff game for the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees in 2012. Prior to that, he spent four seasons in the QMJHL playing for seven different teams. His best numbers in major juniors came in the 2009-2010 season when he scored 22 points for the Halifax Mooseheads.
The Americans begin their fifth season in the Central Hockey League in October. The defending champions have made the playoffs every year with two trips to the Presidents Cup Finals.
