Bloomington Extreme News Release
Bloomington, IL (January 5, 2009) - Bloomington Extreme are proud to announce that former NFL Green Bay Packer Tristan Burge has been added to the 2009 team roster.
DB Tristan Burge (6', 215 lbs.) played football for Eastern Illinois University. While playing at EIU he was a first team All-American.
Burge was a free agent pick up for the Green Bay Packers in 2007. He played on their NFL practice squad. After playing with the Packers, Burge went on to play with the Rockford Raptors in the CIFL.
"We are very fortunate to get a player of this caliber. He will be a nightmare for QBs," Head Coach Kenton Carr said.
"I'm very excited to be coming to Bloomington and making it my football home," says Burge. "I had many options, but wanted to play in front of 4,000 fans each game and play in what most are considering the best indoor league outside the NFL."
Extreme season tickets are on sale now. The season tickets include eight home games starting at only $88. Make sure to get your tickets today. This is going to be a season that you will not want to miss!
