JOLIET IL-The Joliet JackHammers are only 80 days away from taking the field in their home opener, May 28th at 7:10 p.m. against the Lake County Fielders, a 2010 Northern League expansion team.
"There's been a lot of action going on behind the scenes...or gates if you will," said JackHammers General Manager Jamie Toole, "Major League Spring Training is off and running, and the weather's warming up, so we hope our fans are getting ready for baseball...because we sure are!"
