66ers to play in new arena

As you may have heard, the owners of the SpiritBank Event Center announced today that the 66ers will begin playing at their new arena for the 2008-09 NBA Development League season under a long-term lease. The arena is located at 10441 South Regal Blvd., Tulsa, OK, 74133, on the corner of S. Memorial Drive and 105th Street, which is in close proximity to many neighboring communities and still accessible from downtown Tulsa.
With today's announcement, we believe the 66ers will become one of the most successful teams in the NBA D-League. The arena will seat 4,000 and we will continue to offer family-affordable prices for quality entertainment, featuring the second-best basketball players in the world. There will be a center-hung scoreboard with video screen; two club section hospitality areas; the popular Kids Zone; six suites; an attached parking garage; and banquet rooms available for pre- and post-game entertaining.
One of our sales representatives will begin contacting you later this week or next to explain the season ticket renewal process for the new arena. We also can help arrange for hard-hat tours of the new facility for those who are interested..
In the meantime, you are welcome to join us Wednesday evening, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Indigo Joe's, 10438 S. 86th Ave. East, Suite 102, for a Meet the Team function for business owners and new friends from South Tulsa. Indigo Joe's is located in the Shoppes at Regal Plaza, across from the event center.
