TULSA, Okla., December 5, 2013 - The Tulsa 66ers picked up their first win of the season after outlasting the Sioux Falls Skyforce, 82-80, in overtime on Thursday afternoon inside the SpiritBank Event Center.

Grant Jerrett led the 66ers in scoring with 19 points alongside six rebounds. Andre Roberson, on assignment from the Oklahoma City Thunder, recorded six points, seven rebounds, three steals and a pair of assists.

"It was a good win today and an important win for us," said 66ers Head Coach Darko Rajakovic. "We've been working very hard since day one and all of these guys gave a great effort today, especially on the defensive end. I give credit to our guys for staying with it for 48 minutes and then going and winning this game in overtime."

The matinee game was a defensive showdown that featured 11 lead changes throughout the contest.

Tulsa (1-4) entered the fourth quarter with a 52-51 lead before both teams' shooting began to heat up in the final frame. The two teams went back and forth, with neither squad leading by more than five points in the quarter.

With the 66ers ahead 75-72, Sioux Falls (3-2) made it a one-point game with 20 seconds remaining on a made jumper. Tulsa's Mario Little was immediately fouled on the inbound and sunk both foul shots to put Tulsa up three. The Skyforce answered with a three-pointer with 8.6 seconds on the clock to send the game to overtime.

After a made free throw by Jerrett early in the three-minute overtime period, Sioux Falls' A.J. Davis gave the Skyforce a two-point lead with a make from behind the arc but Isaiah Wilkerson answered with a three-pointer of his own to put Tulsa up 81-80.

Tulsa held off the Skyforce on their next two possessions before Wilkerson sunk a foul shot with 17 seconds remaining to extend the 66ers' lead to two. The Tulsa defense held off Sioux Falls in the final seconds to secure the overtime win.

Wilkerson, who scored four of Tulsa's five overtime points, totaled 10 points and two rebounds.

The 66ers held the Skyforce to 26 made field goals and a 31.7 shooting percent. Sioux Falls' 25 field goals in regulation were the second least by a Tulsa opponent in 66ers franchise history.

Tulsa outrebounded Sioux Falls 49-43 behind 14 boards from Rodney Bartholomew.

Thursday's contest was Tulsa's first of three home games in a four day stretch. The 66ers host the NBA D-League's newest team - the Delaware 87ers - Friday night at 7 before closing the weekend against the Texas Legends on Sunday at 4 p.m. For ticket information, visit Tulsa66ers.com.
