FT. WAYNE, Ind., March 11, 2012 - Marcus Lewis tallied a team-high 22 points on 10-of-12 shooting and grabbed 18 rebounds to earn his 28th double-double of the season, Dwight Buycks was strong with 21 points and the Tulsa 66ers (19-22) made the plays down the stretch to outlast the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (11-29) by an 81-79 final score Sunday on the road.
Tulsa, who earned its third consecutive victory by overcoming a 13-point deficit, was also led in scoring by Jerome Dyson with 14.
Offensively, the 66ers tallied 14 assists on the afternoon, led by a team-high five dishes from Buycks.
On the defensive end, the 66ers forced 14 turnovers and created seven steals, led by Buycks and Robert Vaden with two thefts each.
Leading Fort Wayne in scoring was Anthony Goods with a game-high 24. Darnell Lazare added a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds.
The 66ers return to action this Friday and Saturday, March 16 and 17, at home against the Springfield Armor. Both contests are scheduled to tip at 7 p.m. CT inside the Tulsa Convention Center.
