
2014 Titans Schedule Unveiled

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA: Coming off a season in which the Titans went 9-5 and made it all the way to the United Conference championship game the team announced the 2014 Indoor Football League schedule today.
The Titans kick off their third IFL season on Saturday, February 15, 2014 as they host the IFL's newest team, the Bemidji Axemen from Bemidji, MN. The Titans will then travel to Allen, TX the following week to take on the Texas Revolution. The Titans return to Mediacom Field March 8th when conference rival, the Green Bay Blizzard come to town. Following a trip to Green Bay, the Titans return home to host back-to-back home games on Friday, March 21st and Saturday March 29th as they take on the Tri Cities Fever and the Axemen, respectively.
Following the back-to-back home games, the Titans will travel to the west coast to take on the Fever. A bye week follows the trip out west and then the Titans return home for the Axemen's final regular season visit to Cedar Rapids. The Titans host a home and away series with the Texas Revolution traveling to Allen, TX April 25th and returning home to face the Revolution May 3rd. On May 10th Cedar Rapids will visit the defending IFL champion Sioux Falls Storm for the first time since the United Conference championship game then have a bye week and trips to Green Bay on May 31st and Bemidji on June 7th. The Titans conclude the 2014 regular season on June 14th when Sioux Falls comes to town.
This will be the first season for the Titans in their new home, the US Cellular Center in downtown Cedar Rapids. Season tickets are now on sale for the 2014 season starting at just $49. The Cedar Rapids Titans are a third-year franchise playing in the Indoor Football League. The Titans play in the IFL's United Conference along with Green Bay, Bemidji, Sioux Falls, and Allen, TX. For more information on the team, visit www.cedarrapidstitans.com.
The Indoor Football League (www.goifl.com) is a 9-team league based out of Richmond, Virginia with franchises in 10 states. The league holds a 14-game regular season schedule that runs February through June. The IFL's playoffs culminate in July with the IFL United Bowl.
The Eastern Iowa Sports Complex is a 150,000 square foot Indoor/Outdoor multi-purpose sports complex complete with a full size indoor soccer field, full size basketball gym, indoor batting cages, three outdoor athletic fields, and an 18 hole minature golf course. The facility is home to the Cedar Rapids Titans administrative offices, PE Sports Performance and Crossfit, the challenge.
The facility offers recreational youth programs, competitive adult sporting leagues, athletic tournaments, youth development programming, dance classes, community events and hourly field rentals for corporate and private events. A variety of youth athletic camps also take place throughout the year.
