2014 IBL Defensive Player of the Year - Blake Poole (Bellingham Slam)

Poole finished the season ranked first in rebounding, third in steals and fourth in blocks. Poole was the 2013 IBL Finals MVP, and continued his dominant play this season for the Bellingham Slam. Poole helped the Slam snag the top seed in the 2014 IBL Playoffs following a successful season playing in Germany's Pro B league with Hertener Loewen. Poole wrapped up the regular season averaging 18.2 points, 14.8 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 2.8 steals in 37.4 minutes.

2014 IBL Sixth Man of the Year - Nick Moore (Bellingham Slam)

This is Moore's sixth season in the IBL and ironically enough, the talented Bellingham Slam player earned his first IBL Sixth Man of the Year award this season. Moore averaged 24.7 minutes this past regular season for the Slam in 10 games. The Evergreen State alum ended the regular season with averages of 14.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.6 assists. Moore also shot an impressive 65% from three point range and was an efficient 64.8% from the field.

2014 IBL Most Improved Player of the Year Germain Jordan (Portland Chinooks)

In Jordan's third season for the Portland Chinooks, the gifted forward blossomed into a triple-double threat on a nightly basis. Jordan won this same award last season, but found a way to improve upon that amazing season yet again. Jordan enjoyed his highest IBL career averages in points, rebounds and most importantly in his three point shooting percentage (48.8%). Last season, Jordan shot 25.6% from downtown. Jordan remained one of Portland's most lethal players alongside Jared Cunningham all season long.

2014 IBL Rookie of the Year Adam Herman (Vancouver Volcanoes)

After finishing his collegiate career at Concordia University, Herman has stepped into the IBL and been very impressive. What made Herman so special for head coach Joe Navarro and the Vancouver Volcanoes was his high basketball IQ, and incredible efficiency out on the court. In 12 games (5 starts), the 6'6'' forward averaged 14.5 points, and 4.2 rebounds. Herman shot 54.7% from the field and was a steady 86% from the free throw line. Making the transition to professional basketball is difficult, but Herman made it look easy after his great rookie season.

2014 IBL MVP - Andre Murray (Vancouver Volcanoes)

Murray was atop the IBL's In The Game Watch List all season long and for good reason. This marks the second time in his career that Murray has won MVP honors. The Portland State alum last earned the award in 2012. Murray finished the season as the overall leader in points, assists, and steals. Murray finished the regular season averaging 34.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 8.7 assists, and 4.1 steals. Murray dedicated himself this past offseason to achieve this level of play, and his hard work paid off immensely.

2014 IBL Coach of the Year - Joe Navarro (Vancouver Volcanoes)

Joe Navarro helped lead the Vancouver Volcanoes to a 12-5 record and the number two seed in the 2014 IBL Playoffs. Navarro put together a special group of players this past season highlighted by the showstopping play of Andre Murray. Navarro had the Volcanoes off to a hot start at the beginning of the season winning their first five games in a row. Navarro's group then hit a rough patch during a three game losing streak, but would come back and win seven of their last nine games. Navarro understands the IBL very well, and his dedication to the team concept really showed with Vancouver this season.
