2010 U.S. World Cup Soccer Team Captain Carlos Bocanegra To Enter Fury

The Ontario Fury, Driven by Mark Christopher Chevrolet, are proud to announce that U.S. National Team star Carlos Bocanegra will be honored before Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Legends.

Bocanegra, who grew up in Rancho Cucamonga and graduated from Alta Loma High School, is the owner of CB3 Sports Performance and Soccer Academy, which is based at the Upland Sports Arena - the official training facility of the Ontario Fury. He is currently a member of Chivas USA in Major League Soccer.

"It's a great privilege for us that Carlos is going to come out to Citizens Business Bank Arena and see the Fury in action," said Bernie Lilavois, the Fury's president and coach. "And we are proud to host one of the Inland Empire's true legends as we take on Las Vegas."

Bocanegra will be honored on the field before the game, and will participate in the ceremonial kickoff before the Fury and Legends face off. He will also be available to sign autographs at the Fury's merchandise table from 3:30 to 3:45 p.m.

Tickets for Sunday's battle of undefeated Pacific Division rivals are on sale now at the Citizens Business Bank Arena box office and online on the arena's website, cbbankarena.com. Special group and season ticket packages are also available for purchase through the Ontario Fury's front office at the Upland Sports Arena, 1721 W. 11th St., Upland, or by calling 909-240-5242.
