2010 AT&T Goal of the Year and Napa Auto Parts Save of the Year Announced

NEW YORK (Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010) - Major League Soccer's most outstanding individual plays were honored today as Chicago Fire midfielder Marco Pappa earned the 2010 AT&T Goal of the Year and Seattle Sounders FC goalkeeper Kasey Keller was awarded the NAPA AUTO PARTS Save of the Year.
On April 10th, against the San Jose Earthquakes, Pappa struck a left-footed rocket that bent around midfielder Brandon MacDonald and curled into the upper right corner of the goal, out of goalkeeper Joe Cannon's reach.
With his team ahead 1-0 in second-half stoppage time against the Kansas City Wizards on April 17th, Keller made the save of the year with a quick reaction on Wizards midfielder Chance Myers' right-footed shot from just outside the six-yard box. Keller redirected the shot from the left side wide to the right of the goal, preserving the clean sheet and the 1-0 victory.
