2009 Boston Breakers Home and Away Kits Unveiled

Global sportlifestyle brand PUMA® and the stars of Women's Professional Soccer (WPS), including three-time FIFA Women's World Player of the Year, Marta, number one WPS draft pick and Olympic Gold Medalist, Amy Rodriguez, and U.S. National Team midfielder and Women's World Cup bronze medalist, Leslie Osborne, unveiled the home and away uniforms in New York on Tuesday at a high-profile fashion presentation.

Rodriguez and fellow Gold Medalist Angela Hucles each showed off the Breakers' new kits, as TV personality and two-time Olympic Gold Medalist, Summer Sanders hosted the event. Fashion designer and winner of TV's Project Runway Season 4, Christian Siriano added to the excitement by designing his own fashion interpretation of a home and away uniforms inspired by the colors and materials from of the league's uniforms.

Boston Breakers Sign Brazilian Fabiana and Canadian Candace Chapman

The Boston Breakers announced the signings of Brazilian National Team forward Fabiana and Canadian National Team defender Candace Chapman to multi-year contracts on Wednesday. Terms of the deals were not disclosed per team policy.

The two players join England National Team players Kelly Smith and Alex Scott, as well as Canada's Christine Latham as Boston's league-maximum five international players.

Boston Breakers, Boston Aztec Announce Affiliation

The Boston Breakers of Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) reached an agreement with Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) team Boston Aztec, in which Aztec will become the reserve team of the Breakers, it was announced today.

In this role, Aztec will provide an opportunity for Breakers head coach Tony DiCicco and general manager Joe Cummings to make additional roster moves when necessary and to allow players in their system to earn game experience.
