2009 Baltimore Mariners Hit The Airwaves

(Baltimore, MD) On Saturday, September 20th, the Baltimore Mariners will begin a new venture in expanding their presence on the Baltimore sports scene. WNST 1570AM and the Baltimore Mariners are teaming up to present a fresh perspective on local sports. In this case, the focus will be on local, youth-based sports leagues and participating teams.

With virtually an endless pool of leagues and teams spanning several different sports in practically every city in the state of Maryland, the weekly radio program will have the ability to deliver fresh and engaging content to the listeners. The program will profile key personnel; from coaches, commissioners, recreation league council members, all the way to the young athletes themselves. The listener will get an insightful, behind-the-scenes look at what exactly goes into fielding a successful youth based team in the community.

The show will launch this Saturday with a special episode featuring the 2009 Baltimore Mariners. Fans of the Baltimore Mariners can tune in to WNST 1570AM, beginning at 7a.m. to hear the latest and greatest developments in Baltimore's only professional indoor football team. Scheduled to appear on the program are General Manager Greg Justice, Offensive Coordinator Mike Moyseenko, Defensive Coordinator Steve Gaunt, and several players from the upcoming 2009 season.

Tune in, beginning this Saturday from 7-9am, to WNST 1570AM, as the broadcasting talent of Marc and Andrew Unger (The Fighting Unger's) help to usher in a new era of Baltimore Mariners football.
