2006 Roughnecks Dance Team Selected

Odessa, TX: Roughnecks Dance Team choreographer and owner of Shout Dance Studios, Welton Blaylock, along with a panel of celebrity judges selected the top 14 of 60 talented dancers on Saturday. The competition at the Midland Park Mall was very impressive as the selection processes was more difficult than the previous two seasons. "We have the most talented group of dancers that this team has ever seen," explained Blaylock, "The 2006 West Texas Nissan Girls will be more entertaining than ever." Congratulations goes out to all of this seasons girls form the entire Roughnecks organization. The roster for the dance team is as follows:

Press Announcement This Friday: The Roughnecks will be hosting a press conference this Friday, February 17th at the 8th Street Comedy Club, 2111 East 8th Street. The announcement involves perhaps the biggest player signing in franchise history. Food will be served during a comedy performance to the media and the public at 2:30 PM with the announcement to follow shortly after. The addition of this franchise player comes just one day prior to the team hosting it's final local open tryout for the 2006 season. The tryout will take place at the Midland Lee High School Field House/Turf Room in Midland, Texas on Saturday, February 18th beginning at 8:00 AM.
