2006 Princeton Rays Promo and Giveaways Schedule

The Princeton Devil Rays baseball team announced their 2006 promotional schedule on June 1 and it appears that it is another list of events that will make it a very affordable family entertainment option this summer.

"We have been working really hard on our promotional schedule and I feel it is the best one we have put together yet in my 15 years here," commented P-Rays General Manager Jim Holland. The team has had some sort of promotion or giveaway at every home game since 1991.

The promo schedule features three free admission games (no ticket required) on June 21, July 25, and August 7. It also features two bobblehead doll giveaways on August 8 (The Mayberry Deputy), and August 22 (Roscoe, the Princeton Rays' Rooster). Premium items to be given away this year including the P-Rays' logo are softee baseballs (June 21), license plates (June 22), tie dye logo baseballs (June 23), seat cushions (July 3), teamstones (July 13), T-shirts (July 21), and team pictures (July 22) among others.

Home game times are 7:00 pm on Monday-Saturday and 5:30 pm on Sundays. The schedule will feature one home game played at noon on July 26 as a "matinee businessperson's special" with admission for $1.00 with a business card.

There will also be an ongoing promotion during the 2006 season for P-Rays home games at Hunnicutt Field where one lucky fan will have a chance to win almost $6,000 at every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday home game until it is given away as part of a seventh-inning grand slam contest.

This continues to remain very affordable all season long with the highest general admission single game ticket being $4.00. Also, books of 30 undated general admission tickets, which may be used in any quantity at any of the team's 34 regular season home games, are available for only $50.00 per book, which breaks down to a very economical $1.67 per ticket. Children age 5 & under are admitted free to all home games.
