NEWS

After receiving GATORADE Call-Ups to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Feb. 22, both Kaniel Dickens and Billy Thomas have signed a second 10-day contract with the club.

In addition to guard Luke Anderson and forward John Thomas, the Colorado 14ers announced Thursday that they have added Paul Butorac and Milone Clark to the roster. Both players are expected to join the team this week and play in Colorado's next game Sunday evening at Rio Grande Valley. Butorac is a 6-10 rookie forward out of Eastern Washington who most recently played in the Baltic League. Clark is a 6-4 guard who was drafted by the Sioux Falls Skyforce in the D-League this season after playing for the Anaheim Arsenal a year ago. With the two new additions the 14ers roster now stands at ten players after Elton Brown's departure from the team.

NOTES

- Eddie Gill posted a new season-high point total in his last two games, scoring 31 points at Albuquerque and 33 the following night against Tulsa.

- Gill remains the only player in the D-League to post two triple-doubles this season.

- Colorado's 110.3 points per game is the highest average in the D-League. The 14ers lead the D-League in 3-pointers attempted, 3-pointers made, and are second in 3-point percentage as a team. Colorado leads the D-League in free throws made and attempted.

NBA D-LEAGUE PLAYOFF FORMAT

Six teams will qualify for the D-League Playoffs this season, with the field being made up of the three division winners and the three teams with the next best overall records. The top two division winners will receive a bye in the first round and host second round games. The first and second round match-ups will each be a one-game playoff, with the D-League Championship being a best two-out-of-three series.
