Colorado 14ers News Release
DENVER, March 13 - The Colorado 14ers today acquired Mark Jones from the NBA Development League player pool. The 6-6 forward out of Central Florida fills the roster spot that was created when Louis Amundson signed a 10-day contract with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Jones is making his first appearance in the D-League after spending part of the 2005 season with the Orlando Magic. In 10 games with Orlando, he averaged 2.3 points and 1.3 rebounds per game.
The nine year veteran has played in several different leagues worldwide, most recently for BC Kyiv in the Ukrainian Superleague. Jones is expected to play in Colorado's next game, Friday night at Arkansas.
