Mallards Host Military Appreciation Night Saturday
MOLINE, Ill. - The Quad City Mallards will celebrate Veterans' Day with their annual Military Appreciation Night when the Mallards meet the Indy Fuel at 7:05 p.m. Saturday night at the TaxSlayer Center.
The Mallards will pay tribute to those who have served in the armed forces by wearing special edition military-themed jerseys against the Fuel. After Saturday's game, the Mallards will continue to don those unique jerseys during warm-ups prior to home games until auctioning them off to benefit VFW Post 1303 in Rock Island at their March 16 game.
Army Colonel Heidi Hoyle, the Commander of the Joint Munitions Command, will be the guest of honor at Saturday night's game and will drop the puck for the ceremonial pregame faceoff.
All current and former military personnel and their families can purchase tickets to Saturday's game for just $10.
Saturday night's contest is the second of three home games for the Mallards in a span of five days. Tomorrow night, fans can enjoy $1 10-ounce beers when the Mallards take on the Adirondack Thunder at 6:35 p.m. $1 beers are available at TaxSlayer Center concession stands during every Wednesday Mallards home game. All Wednesday evening home games face off at the special early start time of 6:35.

New for this season, fans can also purchase $1 sodas at TaxSlayer Center concession stands during every Sunday contest.
