Toledo's Nagle named CCM ECHL Goaltender of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Pat Nagle of the Toledo Walleye is the CCM ECHL Goaltender of the Week for Oct. 30-Nov. 5. It is the sixth time in his career that he has received the weekly honor, tied for the third most in ECHL history.

Nagle went 3-0-0 with a 2.03 goals-against average and a save percentage of .933 in three appearances last week.

The 30-year-old stopped 26 shots in a 3-2 win at Worcester on Tuesday, made 33 saves in a 5-2 victory over Kalamazoo on Saturday and turned aside 24 shots in a 3-2 win at Indy on Sunday.

Under an American Hockey League contract with Grand Rapids, Nagle has appeared in eight games this season and leads the ECHL with six wins while ranking second with a 1.97 goals-against average and tied for ninth with a .931 save percentage.

A native of Bloomfield, Mich, Nagle has appeared in 230 career ECHL games with Toledo, Fort Wayne, Idaho and Florida posting an overall record of 129-59-25, 11 shutouts, a 2.59 goals-against average and a save percentage of .912. He has also seen action in seven career AHL games with Syracuse, Rochester, Grand Rapids and Utica.

Runners Up: Ty Rimmer, Greenville (2-0-0, 1.23 GAA, .955 save pct.) and Kevin Carr, Utah (2-0-1, 2.61 GAA, .923 save pct.)

Also Nominated: Nick Riopel (Adirondack), Garrett Bartus (Fort Wayne), Etienne Marcoux (Indy), Jamie Murray (Norfolk), Vitek Vanecek (South Carolina), Sean Maguire (Wheeling) and Shane Starrett (Wichita).
