
Final Tryout Produces Riverhawk Hopefuls

The Johnstown Riverhawks of the Atlantic Indoor Football League held its final tryout for the upcoming season on Saturday at the Indiana Ice and Expo Center in Indiana, PA. The team plans to invite 12 of the estimated sixty players in attendance to training camp beginning March 30, 2005.
The latest additions to the squad include indoor veteran wide receivers Manny Johnson, Steve Vagedes and Reggie Blanchard. Johnson played for the Johnstown J-Dogs and the Ohio Valley Greyhounds of the NIFL. Blanchard also played for the Erie Invaders of the IFL. Veteran linemen also displayed incredible talent and desire to make this year's squad. Mike Marshall, a lineman who played on two NIFL Championship teams at Ohio Valley in 2002 and 2003 will challenge for a starting position.
Indoor newcomers Mike Hilliard (RB, Duquesne), Jesse Correll (WR, Shepard), Bilal Cook (WR, Kansas) and Justin Hardison (WR, Mansfield) made an impact and will challenge for a final spot on the roster.
