: Colorado Ice Vs Everett Raptors Game Preview

March 28, 2012 - Indoor Football League (IFL)
Colorado Crush News Release

Fort Collins, CO-The Colorado Ice Professional Indoor Football team will suit up to defend their home turf when they take on the Everett Raptors this Saturday, March 31 st, 2012.

The Ice had a bye this past week after shattering the Allen Wranglers perfect season. The win over the Wranglers pulled the Ice to an even 2-2 record for the 2012 season. In an evenly matched battle, the Ice were able to hold Terrell Owens and the Wranglers to 61-55 with its impressive defense.

The Ice will look for another win over the Raptors to build on their continuing success. The Raptors now 1-3 recently lost 54-48 against the Tri-Cities Fever for the second time this season.

While the Ice are looking for their third consecutive home victory, special teams should provide a huge boost with Kicker, Aric Goodman (#9), leading the league in field goal percentage and WR Duane Brooks (#2) providing the much needed spark in the return game. Keep an eye on QB David Knighton (#5) and RB's Tobias Robinson (#22) and Andre Harris (#6) as they take advantage of the Raptors defense which allows an average of 70 yards per game.

The Colorado Ice and George's Pizza & Gyros have teamed up to make this game a "TOGA PARTY". Fans donning a toga and showing their Greek spirit will be judged and the winner of the best toga will receive a prize from George's Pizza & Gyros.

Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. and the doors will open at 6 p.m. Tickets for this game are available and can be purchased by contacting the Colorado Ice office at (970) 472-0128.
