July 16, 2026 - Following a blockbuster trade on Wednesday, Gio Pantelas is a Penticton Vee. The 18-year-old defenceman comes to Penticton following a move that saw the Vees give up the player rights to Carter Morris, a 2028 3rd round pick, a 2029 1st round pick and a conditional 2030 1st round pick to the Brandon Wheat Kings in return. Vees Acquire Gio Pantelas from Wheat Kings

July 15, 2026 - PENTICTON, BC - The Penticton Vees announced today the acquisition of 2008-born defenceman Gio Pantelas from the Brandon Wheat Kings. In return, the Vees send Brandon the player rights of 2010-born forward Carter Morris along with a 2028 3rd round draft pick and a 2029 1st round draft pick. Pantelas was a 5th round pick of the Los Angeles Kings in the 2026 draft. He registered six goals and 37 points for the Wheat Kings this past season. July 14, 2026 - PENTICTON, BC - The Penticton Vees announced today the signing of 2009-born Czech forward Dominik Drabek to a Western Hockey League Scholarship and Development Agreement. Drabek is a native of Olomouc, Czechia and most recently played for HC Dynamo Pardubice U17 where he put up 35 points in 24 games. He also suited up in one game for the U20 team this past season.
