Thunderbirds, Peterkin Agree to Three-Year Deal

October 16, 2026 - HALIFAX, NS -- The Halifax Thunderbirds announced today that the team has signed defender David Peterkin to a three-year contract. Peterkin, 22, was recently selected by the Thunderbirds in the second round (29th overall) of the 2026 NLL Draft. October 15, 2026 - Halifax, NS - The Halifax Wanderers signed Canadian midfielders Uchinvyo Kaziya and Mike Kirumba to Development Contracts for the 2026 Canadian Premier League (CPL) season.
