September 5, 2016 - NORWICH, CT - The Connecticut Tigers completed the 2016 season with a 10-1 win over the Tri-City ValleyCats. The win completes a 41-35 season that saw the Tigers win the second-most games in a single-season, post 25 wins at Dodd Stadium, most for a single-season and set a new attendance record with 82,488 fans coming through the gates this season. September 3, 2016 - NORWICH, CT - The Connecticut Tigers knocked off Lowell 4-2 in the series finale on Saturday night at Dodd Stadium. Ryan Castellanos earned his eighth win of the year, passing Austin Pritcher (2011) for most wins in a single-season with the Connecticut Tigers. The right-hander pitched a season-high seven innings for the Tigers, allowing six hits, one run and coaxed the Spinners into two double plays. Game 1 The Connecticut Tigers lost 5-3 in game one of the doubleheader against the Spinners. The win for Lowell clinched their first Stedler Division title since 1999.
