Illo, Steelheads Drop Aces 5-2 Saturday

February 6, 2016 - BOISE, IDAHO - The Idaho Steelheads got two late second period goals, the game-winner from newly acquired Radislav Illo, and held off the Alaska Aces 5-2 Saturday at the CenturyLink Arena in Boise. The Steelheads scored two open-net goals late in the third period to close out the scoring. Defenseman Davis Vandane gave Alaska a 1-0 lead at the 3:24 mark of the first period with his first career goal. February 5, 2016 - BOISE, IDAHO - Jake Fallon scored two goals and goaltender Jack Cambell turned aside 31 Alaska shots as the Idaho Steelheads held off the Aces 2-1 Friday at the CenturyLink Arena in Boise. The Steelheads forged a 1-0 lead in the first period as Joe Basaraba brought the puck up the right wing and into the Alaska zone. February 4, 2016 - BOISE, IDAHO - The Alaska Aces scored on the powerplay, while shorthanded, in a 4 on 4 situation and while at full strength 5 on 5 in a 6-1 conquest of the Idaho Steelheads Wednesday at the Century Link Arena. Aces Reacquire Ryan Tesink from Quad City

February 3, 2016 - BOISE, IDAHO - The Alaska Aces are pleased to announce the acquisition of forward Ryan Tesink from the Quad City Mallards. Tesink was reassigned to Alaska by the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League. Aces Head Coach and President of Hockey Operations Rob Murray made the announcement Wednesday. The 22 year old Tesink, a native of St. John, NB, Canada has played in 37 games this season for the Mallards, scoring 6 goals with 10 assists for 16 points with 55 penalty minutes.
