
Yard Dawgz FB Signs with United Football League

OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz fullback, James Develin, signed with the Florida Tuskers of the United Football League earlier this week.
Develin (6'3, 260) joined the Dawgz organization in Week 15 of the 2010 season appearing in the game against the Tulsa Talons. He attended Brown University where he earned second team All-Ivy honors. In his sophomore year, he recorded 28 unassisted tackles, 50 total tackles, led the Ivy League with 6 total sacks, and was ranked first in the league with 13.5 tackles for a loss. Develin also had 3 fumble recoveries ranking him second in the league.
"After acquiring Develin late in the season, we truly felt that we found a pretty good football player that was experienced and would someday be a great professional football player. Develin's strength is his tremendous athleticism, as well as his ability to play multiple positions," said Yard Dawgz Head Coach Sparky McEwen.
