Yard Dawgz Announce High School Athlete of the Week

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz are proud to announce that Anadarko High School junior Sheldon Wilson, has been awarded the Yard Dawgz High School Athlete of the Week.
Last weekend against Chickasha, Wilson had 13 carries for 235 yards and 5 touchdowns. The Warriors defeated the Chicks 41-7.
Each week this fall the Yard Dawgz will choose a standout high school football player to be awarded Athlete of the Week. This award will be chosen based on the student's leadership and performance both on and off the playing field.
"Fall is always an exciting time of the year in Oklahoma and we are extremely excited about our new High School Athlete of the Week program. The Yard Dawgz have always been involved at the grass roots level and this program is another way for us to show our appreciation toward the Oklahoma City community," said Yard Dawgz Head Coach Sparky McEwen.
