SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - The Santa Cruz Warriors have acquired its own 2nd round pick in the 2017 NBA D-League Draft from the Salt Lake City Stars in exchange for center Jaleel Roberts and the returning player rights to Mac Koshwal.

Santa Cruz originally dealt this 2017 original 2nd round draft pick and the returning player rights to Aaron Craft to the Salt Lake City Stars, in exchange for the returning player rights to guard Phil Pressey.

Jaleel Roberts was selected 2nd overall by the Santa Cruz Warriors in the 2016 NBA D-League Draft. In six games for Santa Cruz, Roberts averaged 2.8 points and 1.2 rebounds in 7.3 minutes. After going undrafted in the 2015 NBA Draft, Roberts joined the Washington Wizards for NBA Summer League 2015 and later signed with the Wizards for training camp, appearing in three preseason games. Roberts played for the Brisbane Spartans in Australia during the 2016 SEABL season and left the team in June 2016 in order to rejoin the Washington Wizards for the 2016 NBA Summer League. Roberts went to training camp with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2016, appearing in five preseason games.
