
Valor to Host Pregame Block Party Sunday Outside Capital One Arena

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Washington Valor will host a pregame block party outside the F Street entrance of Capital One Arena from 2-3 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, leading into the team's semifinal playoff matchup against the Philadelphia Soul.
Fans will have the opportunity to celebrate the start of the AFL postseason with the Valor Hype Squad and Valor mascot Blitz, who will distribute Valor swag to those in attendance. Fans can play games and take photos with Blitz and the Valor's giant, inflatable jersey. Upon entering the arena, all fans will receive a playoff-themed cheer card and will have the opportunity to participate in concourse activities, including the Valor photo booth and Valor Hour, which runs from 2:30-3:30 and offers $5 beers in select concession locations.

PLAYOFF INFO:
The two-seed Washington Valor (7-5) will face the three-seed Philadelphia Soul (7-5) in the first round of the AFL postseason in a two-game, home-and-home series. The series kicks off this Sunday, July 28 at 3:30 p.m. at Capital One Arena. Game 2 of the series will be played on Sunday, August 4 at 4 p.m. at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pa. The winner of the two-game series, based on the aggregate score of the two games, will advance to ArenaBowl 32.
The winner of the series will advance to take on the winner of the other AFL semifinal series between the one-seed Albany Empire (10-2) and the four-seed Baltimore Brigade (7-5). Unlike the first round of the playoffs, ArenaBowl 32 will be a traditional, single-game matchup on Sunday, August 11 at 8 p.m. and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2.
