
Two new stars to shine with Arkansas Stars

The Arkansas Stars have been plagued with injuries and losses and it's still early in the season. So, what's a coach to do? Enter two new players: DT McDowell and Stephen Arnold, both, young, fresh, and ready to win.
McDowell, from Tucker, Georgia, brings a set of canons, not guns, canons, to the playing field. He played for Troy University and took the Trojans to the 2004 Silicon Bowl, their first bowl game. McDowell is known as one of the best two-sports stars in America. He is a quarterback and a pitcher. He was drafted by the California Angels and pitches in the AAA league. .
Stephen Arnold is from Dayton, Florida and is ready to kick for the Arkansas Stars. He has kicked for two colleges, Tusculum College and Troy University. Arnold has an excellent leg on him and is a proficient kicker.
The owners say, "These players are filling key positions and their experience is what is needed at this time." Assistant Coach Marshall Foreman looks forward to working with these new players and believes they will bring a new light to the team.
