Thunderbolts Slash Ticket Prices

March 13, 2007 - American Indoor Football Association (AIFA)
Lakeland ThunderBolts News Release

The Lakeland Thunderbolts members of the American Indoor Football Association announced today they will be slashing their ticket prices.

"Although our prices were very reasonable and inline with other teams our owners felt it was still costing too much for a family of four to attend the game" said Al Green, General Manager. "Once you purchased your tickets, paid for parking, got a snack and a souvenir it could cost over $100.". "It is our intention to provide excellent affordable entertainment for the people of Polk County. By dropping the prices I feel we will have met our mission" said owner Andy Moore.

The new price structure includes the creation of a $7.00 ticket and the lowering of Thor's Zone to $10.00, the Lightning to $15.00 and the Thunder section to $25.00. Kids prices and senior discounts will remain the same. The new prices include all the box office fees.

The prices take effect with this Friday nights game against the Baltimore Blackbirds. The Thunderbolts play at the Lakeland Center, door's open at 6:00 PM.

There will be a half time performance by Mark Anthony Roman presented by Cell City.
