Cincinnati Swarm News Release
Cincinnati, OH-The Cincinnati Swarm of arenafootball2 are proud to announce that Bellevue senior Chas Thornberry has been named the Swarm Two-Way Player of the Week for Week 9.
Thornberry scored two touchdowns vs. Bracken County to lead Bellevue to a 48-14 victory. The win improves Bellevues record to 5-3. Thornberry scored on a 44-yard touchdown catch and a punt return. On defense, Thornberry intercepted two Bracken County passes.
Chas is our best athlete, said Bellevue coach Paul Gray. He can do anything, and he makes plays. Two or three of our wins can be traced back to his plays.
The Swarm will be honoring one player each week throughout the season as the best two-way player in the greater Cincinnati area. The honorees will be invited to attend a Swarm game next season where they will be honored in an on-field ceremony.
