Cleveland Charge News Release
The Canton Charge (27-18), powered by the Cleveland Cavaliers, had their eight-game win streak snapped on the road at the hands of the Greensboro Swarm (16-28), 128-124, on Thursday night
The Swarm took down Canton with a potent offensive attack that included them hitting 56% of their field goal attempts as a team (46-of-82), good for the highest percentage for a Charge opponent this season. Greensboro's Damien Wilkins led all scorers with 36 points on 9-of-13 shooting and 15-of-17 from the foul line with six assists in 32 minutes off the bench. Canton finishes with a 3-1 advantage in the inaugural season series between the two teams.
Kay Felder had a team-high 29 points on 11-of-21 shooting with seven assists in 38 minutes on assignment from the Cleveland Cavaliers. Quinn Cook scored 26 points with five rebounds and six assists in 36 minutes. Jonathan Holmes had 17 points, seven rebounds and two steals in 34 minutes. Eric Moreland had his 23rd double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds in 33 minutes. All five Charge starters scored in double figures.
Cheick Diallo had a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds with three blocks in 32 minutes. Cat Barber had 20 points and ten assists in 39 minutes. Seven Swarm players scored in double figures.
