Louisville, Ky. - The Alabama Steeldogs fell to the Louisville Fire, 35-53, Saturday night at Freedom Hall in Louisville, Ky.

The Fire (4-3) picked off Steeldogs (4-3) quarterback Mitch Tanney three times in the game and forced a fumble in the win.

Louisville outscored the Steeldogs 41-14 in the second and third quarters and shot out Alabama in the first quarter.

"We couldn't stay consistent," Steeldogs Head Coach Ron Selesky said. "Every time something good happened we seemed to give the ball back. It was a very frustrating night."

Tanney threw four touchdowns in the game, finishing 21-of-39 for 214 yards. Wide receiver Jon Olinger caught seven passes for 64 yards but fell off his pace of three-touchdown games, scoring only one in the loss.

Alabama travels to Cincinnati next Saturday while the Fire host Green Bay at home on the same day.
