Spokane Shock Signees OL Brandon Haskin and WR/KR Austin Dotson

SPOKANE, Washington (October 15, 2015) - The Shock have signed offensive lineman Brandon Haskin and wide receiver Austin Dotson to their 2016 IFL roster.
Brandon Haskin (OL, 6-3, 315, Tennessee State) joins the Shock for his rookie season as a member of the IFL. Brandon spent the 2015 indoor season as a member of the Alabama Hammers of the PIFL. He completed his final two collegiate seasons at Tennessee State University. Prior to becoming a Tiger, Brandon played in a total 20 games at Independence Community College (KS) during the 2009 and 2010 seasons. He is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana.
"Brandon is a big, physical offensive lineman with indoor football experience," said Head Coach Adam Shackleford. "He has the athleticism to be effective in both the pass and run game for us and should make a great addition to our roster."
Austin Dotson (WR/KR, 5-10, 200, Sacramento State) joins the Shock for his second IFL season. During his rookie campaign in 2015, Dotson started the year off as a member of the Nebraska Danger where he saw action in nine games. After being released from Nebraska, Dotson joined Head Coach Shackleford in Tri-Cities where he played in two games which included the Fever's playoff match-up. Dotson finished his final two collegiate seasons at Sacramento State University. Prior to becoming a Hornet, he played two seasons at Golden West Junior College in Huntington Beach, California. Dotson played his prep career at Carson High School in in Carson, CA.
"Austin is playmaker, plain and simple," said Shack. "We will use him in several different ways offensively as he has deep threat capabilities with his speed and is a terrific screen and ball carrier. I am looking forward to working with him for a full season."
