SAN JOSE, Calif. (June 18, 2008) - The 2008 Western Division champion San Jose SaberCats will begin defense of their ArenaBowl title by hosting a Divisional Round playoff game in HP Pavilion at 12 noon on Saturday, July 5.
The SaberCats earned their ninth straight Arena Football League postseason berth and a bye in the Wild Card Round by winning their third straight division title and eighth in team history. They will host the winner of a Wild Card Round game played the weekend of June 28-29.
Tickets for the July 5 playoff game are on sale now and can be purchased through any Northern California Ticketmaster outlet, by phone at (408) 998-TIXS (8497), online at ticketmaser.com or by visiting the box office at the HP Pavilion at San Jose.
The SaberCats are offering a special Holiday Four Pack for the playoff game which includes four tickets, four hot dogs, four bags of chips, four drinks and four ice cream cookie sandwiches for only $64. The Holiday Four Pack can only be purchased through Ticketmaster.
