Royals' Chaz Reddekopp Joins AHL's Ontario Reign

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals are pleased to announce that Chaz Reddekopp has joined the American Hockey League's (AHL) Ontario Reign on an Amateur Tryout Agreement.

Reddekopp was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the seventh round, 187th overall in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

The native of West Kelowna, BC completed his third season in the WHL where he appeared in 70 regular season games and recorded 30 points (4g-26a). During the 2015-16 campaign, Reddekopp set new career highs in points (30) and assists (26). The Royals' blueliner also tallied five assists over 13 playoff games with Victoria this season.

In 183 regular season WHL games with the Royals, Reddekopp has amassed 60 points (10g-50a). He has also recorded seven assists in 25 career post-season contests with the club.

Reddekopp was selected by Victoria in the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft in the first round, 13th overall.
